Time Out says

Pili Pili is a Parisian institution – like the extra-spicy red pepper of the same name, this characterful rock’n’roll bar will stick with you for a long time. Their infused rums (vanilla, lychee, pineapple, etc.) work brilliantly, as do their attractively priced cocktails (€5 during happy hour), €4 beers and their Planter’s Punch (by the glass or pitcher).

Welcoming and intimate, Pili Pili attracts both regulars and new, curious faces, who are intrigued by its eclectic decor and nod to African culture. The music is always deliciously old school – from rock to hip-hop to punk – and, in addition, they put on some great themed nights out (think Twin Peaks or Dark 80’s) as well as a clothes-swap on Sundays.
