Dupleix metro isn't a stop that's highly visited amongst the majority of Parisians. However, it seems that quite a few people live here and like it rather well. And with the arrival of Plan B and O Coffeeshop across the road, the neighbourhood is swiftly developping.
Opening in February 2017 in an old PMU bar, this artisan beer bar had all the airs and graces of really knowing its stuff. But don't worry, there aren't the normal gentrification prices here, with all the beers priced at €6.90 for 42cl. This certainly doesn't throw off clients who come lunch and evening to have a beer.
"I didn't want to build a bar for beer geeks, just to offer good choice to those who appreciate it and stay a simple neighbourhood bar", says founder Nicolas. For beer lovers the choice is plentiful, with an impressive beer wall of 11 beers that change reguarly.
We can recommend the following: Trifal, a smooth lager which goes perfectly with a sandwich; Glutenberg, made from quinoa (gluten-free) franche du collier, and the somptuously sour Salty Kiss from Magic Rock. We won't go judging this area so quickly again...
