With its black exterior and dim lights, this cute little bar has a discreet and secretive vibe despite being close to the noisy Boulevard Poissonnière. Inside, it’s all about the cocktails. You’ll find all the classic bases (vodka, tequila, gin, whisky, rum) and some interesting flavours. The Mamabis is fresh and flowery, mixing raspberry, lavender and vodka, while the Amstrong Sour is a bitter treat with whisky, lemon and angostura. Both were well-made and served with a smile, though perhaps not original enough to warrant the €12 price tag. However, the tapas selection is exceptional – tasty cured hams and burrata di bufala, all of excellent quality without being too expensive.
