To celebrate ten years since it opened, the avant-garde Musée du Quai Branly dedicates an exhibition to former French President Jacques Chirac, who founded the institution during his tenure in 2006. As is well known in France, the politician is a longtime devotee of Far Eastern and pre-Columbian art, and this two-month-long exhibit aims to help visitors understand the politician’s passion – and to document the founding of the museum itself.
