Hey ! Modern Art and Pop Culture/Act III

4 out of 5 stars
Alt mag ‘Hey!’ is back with its third counter-culture exhibit, and it’s as bewildering as ever.

Time Out says

Cult alternative magazine ‘Hey!’ (founded in 2010 by Anne & Julien) are putting on their third exhibition this September, displaying 62 cutting-edge artists at the Halle Saint-Pierre. Taking in street art, graffiti, cartoons and various bizarre objects (particularly memorable are the porcelain countesses whose intestines spill out as they dance), this exhibit allows visitors to revel in a diverse selection of part funny, part disturbing contemporary art pieces. Yet again, the guys at ‘Hey!’ have succeeded in curating a consistently bewildering homage to counter-culture.
