Time Out says

Whether it’s a family or romantic getaway, the Omni at Rancho Las Palmas has a little bit of everything. Located in the heart of Rancho Mirage, a city known for its golf courses, resorts and sprawling country clubs, it’s a quiet respite, but with plenty of options for entertainment.

The 240 acre property just a few miles from the I-10, features 422 rooms with plush king or two queen beds, furnished balconies or patios, some with pull out couches and spacious rooms and bathrooms with vanity mirrors. The grounds are plush and well groomed, with bursts of bougainvillea, grassy knolls and a stunning 27-hole golf course. Weddings, conferences and other special events abound and with their multiple ballrooms and both indoor and outdoor event spaces, the options are pretty spectacular.

An adult pool and jacuzzi is located just steps from the hotel’s main entrance. Here, adults can order cocktails and bites while relaxing in one of the many plush lounge chairs. On the other side of the resort, is a family-friendly water park called Splashtopia, which features a 425-foot lazy river, two 100-foot waterslides, a sandy beach and more, which can be enjoyed by kids and adults alike. But if you’re an adult looking to really indulge, try the spa, which features its very own intimate pool, and a bevy of spa treatments, including signature massages, facials, hair and nail services as well as spa day packages.

Dining options include bluEmber, the resort’s signature restaurant, where guests will find California New American cuisine, best enjoyed on the expansive patio near their cozy firepit. The R Bar is a casual sports bar where everything from delicious margaritas to burgers and sweet potato fries can be enjoyed. Additional outdoor bars, a café, and so much more are available at this impressive resort.
