No. Time Out Market has a casual approach with its communal seating. You’re welcome to take a seat at our communal tables anytime you’d like.
When is the Market open?
* Clinton St. Baking Company is open for coffee and brunch Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 4pm.
*Ess-a-Bagel is open every day 8am-4pm.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes. You can sign in to free Wi-Fi at the market.
Do you offer vegan and/or gluten-free options?
Yes, but food sensitivities and allergies should be discussed with the chefs and staff at the market while ordering.
Do you allow pets?
Pets are allowed on the 5th-floor rooftop as well as the outdoor seating on Old Dock Street. Pets are not allowed inside the market unless they are service animals.
Is parking available?
Paid parking is available at 100 Jay Street parking garage.
Are there ATMs on the premises?
No, Time Out Market New York does not have an ATM, there is a Chase Bank 0.3 miles away on 136 Front St.
Do you accept cash?
We do accept cash at the bars, but not for our eateries. As an alternative to using your credit or debit card at the eateries, you can also purchase a Time Out Market Card, which is a pre-loaded card that you can purchase and top up at the market. You can also use your standard debit or credit cards directly at our bar and eateries.
What is a Time Out Market Card?

Where are you located?
Empire Stores, 55 Water Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201. We have four entrances to the main floor of the market: the lobby of Empire Stores, off Old Dock Street, Water Street, and the outdoor lobby on the waterfront of Empire Stores. The 5th-floor and rooftop can be accessed from the outside stairs as well as via two elevators, one located inside the first floor of Empire Stores and the other just outside, off the entrance facing the East River.
Is the rooftop open year-round?
Weather permitting, yes!
