WOW: Women of the World Festival

Do ladies run this? Hell yeah. Founded in 2011 at London’s Southbank Centre, WOW returns to the Apollo "to celebrate the formidable power of women to make change happen" through a series of talks, film, debates and performances. This year's edition boasts musician Alice Smith, financial whiz Suze Orman, White House correspondent April Ryan, activist Angela Davis and many other luminaries.
