Time Out says

Grooming 101: Bathe your bod, wash your face, brush your teeth and clip your nails. India native Shridhar Chillal skipped out on this last piece of advice, but for a good reason—to hold the record for the longest fingernails in the world. They're 31 feet long, to be exact. Nailed it!

Now that he has achieved his goal, the 82-year-old is ready to clip the overgrown nails on his left hand in a ceremonious way. Ripley’s Believe It or Not in Times Square is hosting not only the much-awaited snipping, but will immortalize Chillal’s nails forever inside the museum.

To some, the image above may be the visual equivalent to hearing nails scrape against a chalkboard. (Shudder.) But you gotta hand it to him, that must not have been easy. You can check out the grand unveiling on Wednesday, July 11 at 11am. Someone give this man a manicure, stat!
