The World Naked Bike Ride, an international event that promotes a body-positive attitude, rolled through NYC last weekend. Our photographer was at the starting point to get shots of the group prepping for the jaunt, as well as some images of the crew in action. Technically the ride was "clothing optional," though most participants didn't have any qualms about baring at least a bit of skin for the trip. After all, it is legal for people of all genders to go topless in the city—and what's the point of rights if you never use them? Mercifully, none of the wheels in question were Citi Bikes.
