WNYC’s Unsung Champions of Civil Rights from MLK to Today

WNYC returns to the Apollo to present its 13th annual pre–MLK Day celebration. Hosted by Peabody Award–winning radio host Brian Lehrer and All Things Considered host Jami Floyd, the Sunday afternoon event features panel discussions and one-on-one interviews, with a special focus on women, members of the LGBTQ community and others whose crucial roles in the civil rights movement have gone unrecognized—until now.
