Weeksville Garden Party

Weeksville kicks off its Saturdays in July garden-party series with this Emancipation Day fest, which marks the day in 1827 that newly freed African slaves in NYC celebrated their liberty. The musical bill at 6pm features Congolese rapper and musician Baloji and legendary Queens rapper Pharoahe Monch.
