Vintage Peacock Party on the Vintage NYC Subway Trains

Meet at Lower East Side–Second Ave uptown platform The MTA’s Nostalgia Shoppers’ Special Train service has returned for the holidays, prompting the eighth annual dress-up party on the classic R1 subway cars. Dig out your most dapper thrift-store finds and swing to live jazz by Svetlana and the Delancey Five. After partying on the platform and a return ride to Queens Plaza, the traveling shindig will make its way to East Village bar Idle Hands (25 Ave B between 2nd and 3rd Sts).
