Time Out says

This new immersive experience explores what makes New York, New York. Called The Living Portrait of New York, it celebrates the resilience and diversity of NYC. This 10,000 square foot experience features immersive multimedia content and surprise live performances by New Yorkers from across the city. Plus, get a chance to see more than a dozen performers from all boroughs, including subway artists, Moth storytellers, dancers, puppeteers, balloon artists, and jazz musicians.

The event, presented by Citizens, is free, and it's open from September 18-27 in the Flatiron District. Snag a free ticket here.
