We’re not sure what a “reimagined” apartment is, but the minimalist, mod vibe of this East River–adjacent pad is pretty appealing, not gonna lie. We can just picture making an espresso in the sleekly tiled kitchen and then sipping it out of a tiny cup as we gaze out over the water from the balcony. And the building’s roof deck and gym only sweeten the deal.

Stepping into this massive, whimsically painted duplex probably feels a lot like Dorothy’s first glimpse of Oz: It’s that nice. Not only is it a whopping 2,100 square feet—not including the finished basement—but it also has a private outdoor space that features a “custom solarium lounge.” We’d go with “kick-ass porch,” but either way, we’re not in Kansas anymore.

McCarren Park becomes your backyard (well, practically) at this sunny North Brooklyn flat. Along with hardwood floors, gorgeous wall molding, high ceilings and natural light galore, the location is just removed enough from the main drag that you can actually get some peace and quiet (but still, you know, stumble home from the bars).

Your eyes don’t deceive you—that’s the price for three bedrooms, not two. And if that weren’t enough, it includes all utilities and a free month of rent.
