The Dalai Lama

The Dalai Lama’s annual NYC visit always causes something of a fuss, albeit a polite and reverential one. And why wouldn’t it? The Tibetan Buddhist figurehead is believed by many to be the 14th incarnation of the Dalai Lama in a line that stretches back more than 500 years. This week offers the chance to drop in on a number of talks from the man himself, or go for both days and spiritually geek out. Note: the teachings will be live streaming at dalailamany.org.
