[title]Amidst the growing backlash from both Brooklyn and Manhattan communities, the annual SantaCon did happen, albeit not as originally planned. Organized through the SantaCon app and Twitter, these Santa fans took over venues around the city with all the booze and mayhem the naughty boys and girls of New York could ask for. While the Christmas clad throng took over some of the best New York bars, Con-goers were also asked to donate money for New York charities, raising thousands of dollars for the community.
