You’ve had two weeks to recover from your Irish-American celebrations; now turn your attention to this three-day celebration of Scottish heritage. The main event is the “Scots in the American West” exhibit, which spotlights notable immigrants like detective and spy Allan Pinkerton, wildlife preservationist John Muir and alleged bovine rustler Ella “Cattle Annie” Watson, as well as Buffalo Bill Cody’s Wild West Show, which toured through Glasgow in the late 19th century. Stop by between 11am and 3pm for live performances by the likes of Scottish-harpist Haley Hewitt, Scottish-fiddler Calum Pasqua, traditional Celtic band the New York Brogue and others.
