Time Out says

Love cozy chai? Love fresh-from-the-wheel ceramics? You’ll get both at this unique pottery class led by local ceramicist Daisy Gebbia-Richards, part of a series in which the artist partners with local businesses like breweries and coffee shops to serve as inviting settings for her creative workshops.

On April 17 at Poppy’s HQ (194 Columbia St), the potter will partner with Bhavna Kolakaluri, the founder of Sourcery spice company who will lead the chai-making part of the class. On the ceramics side of things, the workshop will focus on hand-building, with Gebbia-Richards guiding participants in crafting pinch pots or whatever inspires them—you’ll choose your own glaze, and then she’ll take your creation to her studio to bisque fire and glaze your piece.

There will be pastries ranging from banana bread to lemon loaves, all catered by Poppy's and paired with fresh chai—so bring your appetite!
