Shabbat dinner with Steve Bloom

92YTribeca’s regular Shabbat dinner takes a turn for the psychotropic this Friday night. Rabbi-in-residence Dan Ain welcomes Steve Bloom, former editor of High Times magazine, for a frank discussion about marijuana and its relationship to Jewish tradition and mysticism. Also up for debate are the roles that drugs and drug laws play in modern society. All this scholarly pontificating will be followed by a Shabbat dinner and wine—cures for the munchies and cotton mouth, respectively.
