Immerse yourself in vibrant Mexican tradition at this second annual Day of the Dead celebration, hosted by US Mexico Chamber of Commerce and MMFB Productions.
The outdoor fiesta will be held on Saturday, November 4 between 6 pm and midnight at 272 Meserole St in Brooklyn, where guests can peruse street vendors selling Mexican crafts, dig into mouthwatering Mexican dishes (local restaurants and food stalls will be highlighting a signature dish inspired by Mexican cuisine, with each spot serving up something unique and delicious), enjoy live mariachi music, admire Catrina sculptures and more.
Seeing as how the tequila will be flowing, the event is 21-plus so feel free to leave los niños at home and get ready to celebrate with a cocktail or two. Dressing up and face painting is definitely encouraged, so use the holiday's signature sugar skulls as inspiration and honor one of your departed loved ones.
You can opt for general admission tickets and pick up the $7.50 tokens redeemable for food at the festival or snag an early-bird ticket with food tastings already included in the price at the event website.
