Meet the first commercially viable rooftop vineyard in the world, set to debut its harvest in October of this year. The goal? To get NYC’s first urban vintage out in the fall of 2017. Until that happens, you can still explore the facility and meet the brains behind the operation (they have this vineyard thing down to a literal science) during tours with Untapped Cities and get a taste of their Finger Lakes, New York–produced wine, all while enjoying a 15,000-square-foot open-air rooftop with picnic tables and hammocks.
