Time Out says

Queens Rising, an organization that celebrates Queens' diverse arts scene, is back this year with a series of unique performances and exhibitions in collaboration with local organizations that showcase the borough's richness. This year's collaborators include A Better Jamaica, Center for the Women of New York, Korean Community Services of Metropolitan New York, Louis Armstrong House Museum, MoMA PS1, Queens Museum, Theatre Beyond Broadway, Urban Vegan Roots and many more.

This year, Queens Rising is launching "Queens Scene," a performance series that will highlight local talent across Flushing Town Hall, Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning, the Queens Botanical Gardens and Terraza 7. Other performances include Sin Fronteras World Jazz Quintet, The Scooches, and Mr. Pablo on Saturday, June 1st; JRose, Byron Frazier (Jerome Heka) on Wednesday, June 19th; and Gina D'Soto, Jenna Vox, and Queens Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, June 29th.

On June 8, Queens Rising will take over the Queens Night Market where several of the artists from the organization's roster will perform from 4pm till midnight. To see the full lineup with times and venues, check out Queens Rising's website.
