If you're a whisky fan, don't miss this tasting billed as a once-in-alife-time Scotch whiskey experience on Wednesday, May 7 at The Gray Mare in the East Village. Pure Malts's latest whisky tasting is "A Laphroaig Odyssey," digging into the beloved spirit's catalogue. You'll get to try a long list of spirits from Laphroaig casks, pouring from Green Farms Spirit Shop, Bottle Republic, Astor Wines, and many more.
Back in 2022, the distillery partnered with USA-based entities to release 15 different single casks. Each cask highlighted the distillery's iconic spirit, aged in a variety of cask types and were sold in retailers across the country. Pure Malts diligently collected all 15 bottles—even one that was not for sale to the public.
In addition to sampling spirits, enjoy food, listen to music by Sean Harkness, and meet some new friends. USA Brand Ambassador Simon Brooking will be on hand to kick off the festival-style celebration.
