Photos: Fourth of July fireworks 2011

Thousands of spectators headed to the Hudson River to see the annual Macy's Fireworks display. More than 40,000 fireworks were shot from six barges docked along the river; even if you didn't get a spot along Twelfth Avenue (which provided the clearest views), you could still see the stunning displays from other spots along the west side of Manhattan.
