In 2020, The New York Public Library launched the Pandemic Diaries project, inviting people to submit audio recordings of themselves and their loved ones telling personal stories about life amid the pandemic. The library collected these stories for more than a year.
Now, the projct's leaders will join writers and artists to talk about the experiences of the early days in the pandemic. See "Pandemic Diaries: Julie Golia, Jeremiah Moss, and Camilo José Vergara" on Wednesday, March 15, at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building (the library's main branch at 476 5th Avenue). Tickets are free; just be sure to reserve your spot in advance.
