NYC Women's Surf Film Festival

Lava Girl Surf School and LUNA have teamed up to screen films from around the world that share powerful stories of women who journey into the water. On Friday night, see Australian surfing photographer Frances Miller's new exhibition Prima Donna (6–9pm), followed by screenings of short films introduced by their directors. On Saturday, check out immersive documentaries It Ain't Pretty and Women and the Waves 2. Then, the festival wraps up on Sunday with an early morning surf session, which includes coffee with featured filmmakers.
