New Amsterdam Records, a vital classical label, shows off the breadth of its roster with a ten-hour festival at MoMA PS1. Festivities kick off with a performance of Alvin Lucier's resonant I am sitting in a room. The guys behind Oneohtrix Point Never will present a site-specific work in the museum's Boiler Room. Electroacoustic composer Daniel Wohl will collaborate with Pulitzer winner Caroline Shaw in the Richard Serra room (on the museum's roof). Want more? How about Roomful of Teeth's arrangement of a rare Paul Lansky work, a set by Tyondai Braxton, plus pianist Vicky Chow's local premiere of a new work by Tristan Perich? This is a mighty bill.
