You'll hear about the environmental impact of natural candles, discover what ingredients you need to make a natural candle, pick up some candle care tips and see how to style candle displays. Plus, you'll get to make your own eight-ounce natural scented candle utilizing 100 percent coconut wax with phthalates free fragrances oils and cotton wicks.
Ticket price includes instruction, tools and ingredients to make one natural candle each (8oz), wine and small bites.
This workshop is hosted by friends and female artisans Melanie Rousselet and Chelsea Miller. Melanie Rousselet is the natural candle expert behind Artisane NYC; Chelsea Miller is the celebrated knife maker and owner of Chelsea Miller Knives and The Knife Factory, her new event space and culinary arts studio in Williamsburg.
