Honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by participating in the UJA-Federation of New York’s annual MLK Day of Service, which features over 60 service projects with 29 partner organizations throughout the five boroughs, as well as Westchester and Long Island.
On Sunday, January 14 and Monday, January 15, New Yorkers can come together to assist those in need by packing care packages for children in shelters, preparing and serving dinner for food insecure families, packaging hygiene kits for asylum seekers, making sandwiches for community fridges and food pantries, sharing a meal with individuals residing in local homeless shelters, making arts and crafts for the elderly, and more.
