Time Out says

For the third year, Lincoln Center invites families and audiences of all ages for a free full-day Open House brimming with creativity, community and inspiring live performances.

On Sunday, October 27, David Geffen Hall welcomes guests to experience the performing arts up close, with free workshops, interactive performances, participatory art-making, music and dance. The full day of events includes an exciting session with #1 New York Times bestselling children's book author and playwright Mo Willems, in participation with musicians from the New York Philharmonic; excerpts from Electric Root Presents: Selections from The Sound of (Black) Music, a groundbreaking show that reimagines the music from Rodgers and Hammerstein's The Sound of Music; WeBop jam sessions with Jazz at Lincoln Center; Motion Sensor Dance Parties with musician LaFrae Sci; costume-making stations with designer DeShon Elem; and much more.

And don't forget to break out your best costumes for the Halloween Weekend festivities!
