Jeronimo Elespe

This Madrid artist is known for intimate oils of portraits, heads and other subjects heavy on mood, memory and fantasy. He paints in oil on aluminum panels, using small daubs in a manner that often recalls aspects of Postimpressionism and Symbolism. This show presents drawings on paper along with his newest paintings on aluminum, plus recent compositions on linen and wood panels.
