Relax on the Conservatory Lawn and let world-class musicians serenade you at this live jazz concert series in the New York Botanical Garden. Catch the French Connection on June 15, with vocalist Camille Bertault and an ensemble led by renowned trumpeter Alphonso Horne. On July 14, vocalist Brianna Thomas, trumpeter Dominick Farinacci, clarinetist Evan Christopher and pianist Dan Tepfer revisit the works of Scott Joplin, WC Handy, Jelly Roll Morton, Louis Armstrong, Bessie Smith and more. The series closes out on Aug 18 with Songs of Protest & Reconciliation, featuring pianist Damien Sneed and guests, including trumpeter Keyon Harrold.
