For International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust will present a community reading of Night, the seminal memoir of Holocaust survivor, Nobel laureate, and political activist Elie Wiesel.
Along with the author’s own son, Elisha Wiesel, readers include CNN anchor John Berman, Golden Globe winner Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife, The Morning Show), Emmy-winning actress Carol Kane (Taxi, The Princess Bride), comedian Jackie Hoffman (Only Murders in the Building), Oscar-winning filmmaker Marshall Curry (The Neighbors’ Window, A Night at the Garden), author Taffy Brodesser-Akner (Fleishman Is in Trouble) and Stranger Things star Brett Gelman, among others.
Along with the readings, the free event on Sunday, January 28 will be interspersed with music and reflections. And if you can’t attend in person, you can attend virtually by registering on the museum’s website.
