Illuminated: A Winter Festival at Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Celebrate the darkest season with this midwinter festival. Crafty workshops, storytelling, bird-watching, outdoor games, warm treats and tunes courtesy of the garden’s resident pirate station, Northern Lights Radio, fill the garden for two family-friendly weekends. On Sun 26, grandparents and grandkids are invited to revisit “old school NYC” with viewings of vintage Gotham flicks and games of street pastimes such as box ball and bottle cap skelly.
