Hudson River Park's Pier 46

This pier at the end of Charles Street has been beautifully renovated, allowing you to venture out over the Hudson River, take in the views and even sit down and relax on its synthetic grasslike turf. The pier also allows fishing, and is an especially lucky spot to snag a scaly swimmer—the plies at the Western end encourage fish habitats.
