Time Out says

There are several ways to celebrate Holi, the Hindu festival of color and spring, this weekend in NYC. Here's what's coming up:

Holi at the Seaport: Wear all white to this celebration so you're ready for the traditional color powder celebration. Also taste Indian cuisine, listen to storytime, make puppets, take a Bhangra dance lesson and participate in a collaborative mural. The Holi festival will take place at the Seaport on Fulton and Front Streets on Saturday, March 18 from 11am-2pm. The celebration is free and open to the public, but advance registration for certain events is required.

Flushing Town Hall celebration: Flushing Town Hall is hosting its first-ever Holi festival, including devotional and Hindustani classical raga music performances, traditional Kathak dance, a dance drama of Holi, folk dances, and more by The Srijan Dance Company. Tickets cost $15 for the event on Saturday, March 18.
