Feeling crafty this Halloween? Try your hand at origami folding and letterpress printing at this free seasonal workshop on Wall Street, where you’ll learn to make origami bats and other spooky folded-paper creatures, along with Halloween-themed paper chains. For an extra thrill, skilled Bowne & Co. designers will be on hand to guide you through crafting your own letterpress-printed broadside posters using a 19th-century printing press from the Seaport Museum’s working collection.
All participants get to take home the items they create during the afternoon, to add some homemade fun to their Halloween decorations. Admission is free, but pre-registration is encouraged—sign up here!
