Time Out says

The eighth annual Greek Jewish Festival is back in the Lower East Side this weekend. The open-air festival celebrates the unique Romaniote and Sephardic heritage of the Jews of Greece. Experience a feast for the senses including authentic kosher Greek foods and homemade Greek pastries, traditional Greek dancing and live Greek and Sephardic music, an outdoor marketplace full of vendors, arts and educational activities for kids and more.

Artists performing include: Sounds of Cyprus (Cypriot folk music), Noga Group featuring Avram Pengas (Greek, Israeli, Sephardic, Mediterranean), Layla Isis (master bellydancer), Scott Wilson and Effendi (Turkish, Ladino, and Middle Eastern music), Stavros Theodorou Orchestra (traditional and modern Greek music), and the Holy Trinity Dancers of New Rochelle (Greek folk dance performance in traditional outfits with lessons for the public).

It’s free to attend the festival, which runs from noon-6pm on Sunday, May 21 at 280 Broome Street between Allen Street and Eldridge Street.
