Gertrude’s Paris Festival

Over five weeks, Symphony Space presents music, literature, food and art that hearkens back to the time when the American expat Gertrude Stein hosted salons frequented by Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse. The theater’s annual Wall to Wall offering (Sat 5 11am–11pm) closes the series with a marathon collage of musical performances all referencing the Paris scene. Hear Michael Arenella and His Dreamland Orchestra, Le Train Bleu and other musicians, in addition to readings of Stein’s work and conversations about the era.
