The Schomburg Center hosts its beloved monthly soiree, this time with a House Music rager honoring resident DJ Larry Levan's pioneering years at venues like Paradise Garage. Get down to joyous sets by DJs Missy B, Craig Nice and Frankie Paradise; and take breaks from the party to sweep exhibitions like Black Power!, Syncretic Vibrations and InHarlem Firelei Báez: Joy Out of Fire. Admission is free, but you must R.S.V.P. in advance at eventbrite.com. Be sure to show up early: all registered tickets are released 15–30 minutes before start time.
