Eyeworks Festival of Experimental Animation

The Chicago-born festival arrives in NYC with screenings of classic and contemporary short animation work. Thirty short films are on the program, including “69” by avant-garde pioneer Robert Breer and Joshua Mosley's “Jeu de Paume,” a stop-motion picture depicting a tennis match in 1907. Brooklyn filmmaker Rose Kallal is set perform a live performance using 16mm film loops to create an abstract, mind-bending piece.
