Based on “a love and deeply inaccurate knowledge of the 70's,” this dazzling, disco-fied variety show is a chaotic and “powerfully dumb” evening populated with dance numbers, live comedy, drag performers, burlesque titillators, puppet gags and more.
Hosted by writer-comedian Kendall Davis and actor-musician Christopher Morucci, the show on March 23 will feature the on-stage talents of Jess Elgene, Sydney Duncan, Julia Schroeder, Moxy Mayday and Lucy Goosey. There will also be a good old-fashioned telethon—this is the 1970s, after all–during which virtual attendees can call in on the live stream and donate to help get DISCOunt to the famed Edinburgh Fringe Fest.
