Brought to you by the New York Restoration Project (NYRP) and Urban Asanas (the first Black woman-owned yoga and wellness studio located in Crown Heights) the Jane Bailey Memorial Garden in Bed-Stuy will play host to a free and open-to-the-public Community Healing Day on Saturday, July 27.
The gathering kicks off with two open level yoga classes at 11am and 1pm led by Urban Asanas teachers Margo Luxlon and Katie Cercone. Yoga mats will be provided. Running through 5pm, the event will feature a portable Visions Boards workshop with "Glitter Priestess" Damali Abrams, readings with astrologer/psychic King Adonnis, live music from Sunshine Monie El and shopping opportunities with high-vibe vendors like Gitzuz Jewlz founder Ixchel.
