Time Out says

The Summer Club is getting a makeover for fall: the breezy Long Island City spot (8-08 Queens Plaza S) has been transformed into Cityside Pumpkin Patch, a.k.a. "NYC's biggest pumpkin patch," for the month of October.

Now through October 31st, the rooftop space will be decked out as an immersive Halloween experience with over 10,000 pumpkins (locally harvested from upstate New York) spread across the 25,000-square-foot space. Select tickets include a complimentary pumpkin to take home so that you can continue the autumn fun even after you leave.

Along with the gorgeous gourds, the experience will have plenty of activities to participate in. You can get all of your aggressive out in the Smash-o-Lantern Zone, or try the steadiness of your hand at the "Sam Adams Beer Fest, Fear Fest," an OctoberFest-themed haunted challenge where you have to carry a full pint of beer through a series of jump scares. (Winner gets a season's supply of OctoberFest!)

Test your marksmanship at the Scarecrow Archery Spectacle, get your face painted like a jack-o-lantern and explore the many Instagram-ready installations, from a mirrored funhouse to an LED-displayed midnight cemetery.
