Fan-Fan Doughnuts and Guittard Chocolate Company have teamed up to host the second annual chocolate donut festival at the former's Clinton Hill location from May 18 through 22.

Lest you think there's only one way to make the phenomenal chocolate treat, think again: Fan-Fan's owner Fany Gerson has come up with over 20 new creations, each one inspired by the year's theme—nature.

Stand outs include the Campfire (smoked vanilla diplomat, chocolate malt gaze, burnt marshmallow and brown butter cookie crumbs), the Bichos (chocolate chile glaze made with Oaxacan pasilla and Morita chiles with grasshoppers and salt), the Mexican desert (queso fresco-white chocolate filling with cactus paddle jam and prickly pear glaze) and the Mother Earth (pistachio white chocolate frosting with seasonal edible flowers and microgreens), among others.
