Around a million people flocked to Eastern Parkway on Labor Day for this year's West Indian–American Carnival Parade—a tradition that dates back to 1947, when the first NYC street parade was held in Harlem (it moved to Brooklyn in 1969). This year's festivities were every inch as glorious (and semi-naked) as you'd expect, in a year that's seen its fair share of glitter on the streets already, thanks to the Mermaid Parade and the NYC Pride March.
