The sunny (and sticky) days of summer are here again! Taking a dip on the beach at Coney Island or strolling down the boardwalk are just a few favorite ways to make the most of summer in NYC. Turns out we relax in NYC in much the same we did back in the day: by taking it easy by one of the city's pools or best beaches—it's just that we tend not to hit the sand fully clothed and wearing a hat like they did a hundred years ago. Check out these beautiful photos, running from the turn of the century right up to the groovy ’70s.
