Central Park Conservancy Film Festival: Fame

Isn't it time to collectively cleanse our memories of the abominable 2009 remake of the performing-arts-school camp original Fame? In celebration of the Central Park Conservancy's 35 year anniversary, the organization is screening films from the year of its inception—1980—and has wisely chosen to include the iconic forerunner to Glee. A DJ set will get rolling at 6:30pm to put audiences in the dancing mood prior to the film's screening.
