Cat costumes galore! The 20 best photos from the Algonquin's cat fashion show

If you noticed your allergies playing up as you walked by the Algonquin Hotel on Saturday night, or maybe spotted the odd crazy cat lady, that’s because it was host to the annual cat fashion show. (That’s right: Annual cat fashion show. Click the link to see last year’s costumed kitties.) A multitude of cat costumes were on display as the furry fashionistas strutted (or rather, stalked) their stuff in order to raise money for the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s animals. Whether or not Mark Maron was right when he told us that, “Emotionally, a cat is a pretty good fill-in for a woman,” at least we can all agree they definitely look good in a dress.
